Pessina’s steel strips for shutters is actually the best known and reputable material for this application.
Best raw material, precision cold rolling, precise slitting, de-burring of edges and constant hardening and tempering process assure a product with close tolerance in shape and mechanical properties.
Each coil has been checked by width, thickness, hardness, bend-ability and elasticity.
Pessina Standard packaging has con of 80-100 kg/each on wooden pallets for total weight of around 1000 kg.
Different packaging can be provided on request (refer to packaging’ section).

For ninety years we have been producing hardened and tempered high carbon steel strips.
Pessina hardened strips are made with raw materials from the best European steel mills, cold-rolled, slitted, rounded, hardened and tempered with the most modern technologies, whose control is continuous and recorded.
All rolls are tested with bend, elasticity and hardness test according to fine-tuned parameters.
All this allows us to offer a product perfectly suited for the manufacture of shutter’s spring , which guarantees repeatability of the performance and the constant of the lifting capacity for all life-time.
The hardened steel spring has no performance reduction in time.
